Orthodontic treatment is part of a comprehensive dental health care plan. It enhances your oral health and creates beautiful smile. Teeth can last a lifetime with good oral care. The teeth may look straight but the upper and lower teeth may not fit properly. It is harder to clean crooked teeth and this could lead to tooth decay, gum disease and tooth loss. Orthodontic treatment straightens the teeth and creates a "good bite" where the upper and lower teeth fit properly. It is easier to clean, chew and speak with a good bite.
  • Children Orthodontics (Kids Braces):
Treatment that begins while a child is growing helps produce the best results. Most treatment begins when patients are between 8 and 14. During the early developmental growth of jaw bone, the teeth size can be measured through diagnostic radiographs. By this measurement the anticipated space for the permanent teeth can be precisely planned. Also it is possible to guide the teeth and modify jaw alignment for good stability. Over the years research has shown that early orthodontic treatment started during "growth spurts" has more predictable outcome in teeth alignment.
  • Adult Orthodontics (Adult Braces) Adults can undergo orthodontic treatment too. There is no age limit on when the orthodontic treatment can be started. Teeth can moved at any age. The orthodontic process involved in moving teeth is the same for all ages. It’s never too late to create a “good bite” and a beautiful smile. Also, modern orthodontic technology has reduced treatment time to 18 -24 months. Important benefits of orthodontic treatment is the ability to brush and clean teeth easily. This will prevent gum disease which is the foremost dental condition for tooth loss in older population.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is the tooth saver treatment for grossly decayed preventing it from further fracture eventually resulting in losing a tooth. The treatment involves the removal of inflamed or diseased pulp from the tooth and cleanse it to heal its infection thus strengthening it for a long term use. The treatment involves 3 levels: first is to remove the pulpal content and cleaning & shaping of root canals to secure a clean and disinfected canal for further levels. Second is the filling up of these cleaned canals with a medicated permanent filling making the tooth stronger. And the last level is restoring the damaged portion of the tooth to its natural shape n structure. But root canal treated tooth should compulsorily be crowned to strengthen the tooth to withstand the masticatory or chewing forces. Here in KINGS DENTAL CENTER, our multitalented specialists makes sure that your teeth is given the best care possible considering your concern for your beloved tooth with the best and sophisticated instruments and machines available hence helping you retain your natural tooth but pain free!!!
Dental Crowns & Bridges

When a tooth is cracked, decayed or severely affected by trauma, a filling might not be enough to contain the damage. That's where a dental crown (also called a cap) comes into play, to lend some extra strength and hold the tooth together. Our specialized staff takes an impression of the tooth and makes a new customized cap, to provide a solid reinforcement that replicates the natural shape and size of the original. A bridge is a set of artificial teeth that replaces two or more adjacent missing teeth, using the natural teeth on both sides of the gap to anchor the artificial teeth in place. Crowns are made of ceramic, metal or porcelain fused to metal. They cover teeth to restore them to their normal shape and size or to hide chips or discoloration. Crowns are also required for implants and after a root canal treatment.

Restorative Dentistry
A Filling/ restoration is material that fills the cut and cleaned cavity left after a decayed portion of a tooth has been removed. Fillings fall into three categories: amalgam, composite and GIC.
  • Amalgam Fillings use an alloy (mixture) of mercury and other metals (such as silver, copper or tin) that is carved and contoured after placement in the tooth.
  • Composite Fillings use a composite made of minute glass or ceramic particles that are mixed into a gel-like substance. The colour of the substance is similar to that of a tooth. After it is applied to the tooth, the composite is hardened using a light that causes it to solidify almost instantly.
  • GIC Fillings use a gel-like composite (mixture) made of minute glass particles. After it is applied to the tooth, it sets within five to 10 minutes. The composite bonds to the tooth and releases fluoride into the tooth for a period of time.
In our clinic we provide the most aesthetically convincing but the strongest material available so that the tooth doesn't require a re- treatment.
Veneers and Smile Makeover
Porcelain veneers, alternatively termed dental veneers or dental porcelain laminates, are wafer-thin shells of porcelain that are bonded onto the front side of teeth so to create a cosmetic improvement for a tooth. Porcelain veneers are routinely used by dentists as a way to make cosmetic changes for teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned. These are specially tailored extremely thin porcelain laminates used for filling gaps or hiding discoloured teeth. These are shell like covers that fit over the front of the teeth and can be blended with your natural tooth colour.
Whitening / Bleaching
Any dental work that improves the appearance of teeth, gum or bite is known as the science of dentistry. It is strange that why we choose to live with discoloured yellow and stained teeth when it can easily be treated. Maybe, for the simple thought that it is not considered as some disease. However, discolouration, staining or yellowing of teeth is as essential as any other dental treatment. In fact, it is a preventive measure which acts as a forearm to fight future diseases.the dentists take about 60 minutes to perform the teeth whitening treatment. This dental treatment involves bleaching of teeth using peroxide based solution. This peroxide solution gets amalgamated with the microscopic stains and gives the teeth their white shine. While such a procedure is being carried out, it is ensured that the lips and gums are covered with a layer to protect them from any undue damage. Due to the complexity of the procedure, it is made sure that the teeth whitening treatment is performed by professional dentists only.

Teeth have a more functions than simply chewing food and lighting up a smile. They’re crucial for speaking clearly, and without them, the facial structure can sag and wrinkle, making you look much older than you are. In the long run, tooth loss can negatively affect your health and appearance. Dentures are artificial teeth, typically removable, that replace several missing teeth. Full and partial dentures are available.Translucency of the material picks up underlying tissue tones, making it almost impossible to detect in the mouth. No clasping is visible on tooth surfaces (when used in manufacturing of clear clasps), improving aesthetics. The material is exceptionally strong and flexible. Free movement is allowed by the overall flexibility. Complete biocompatibility is achieved because the material is free of monomer and metal, these being the principle causes of allergic reactions in conventional denture materials. Flexible dentures will not cause sore spots due to negative reaction to acrylic resins and will absorb small amounts of water to make the denture more soft tissue compatible.

Preventive Dentistry
Dentistry, in many countries, is mostly need-based, and somewhere over time we dentists are also only looking for frank cavities and symptomatic teeth. But what about the initial stages, where cavitation has still not taken place. We are talking about WHITE SPOTS , FISSURAL STAINS,INITAL STAGES OF ENAMEL WEAR (WEAR FACETS).Now when we look at a patient, if we keep all these things in mind, not only we are looking at a new dimension in planning the treatment but we are also justifying PREVENTION, NOT JUST CURE. As dental professionals, at KINGS DENTAL CENTER, we aim at a disease (caries) free mouth in every patient whom we come across.
Inlays and Onlays
  • These are indirect fillings fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place.
  • These are needed when the decay or fracture is so extensive that cannot be restored with composite or amalgam. These are usually made from porcelain, composite, resin (tooth coloured materials) and sometimes even from gold. They can also be used to replace metal fillings.
  • These are helpful in preventing the eventual tooth loss, besides being stronger, well fitting and longer lasting solution to tooth decay or fracture.
Evaluating your jaws
Orthognathic surgery shapes up your face by straightening your teeth with orthodontics and repositioning your jaws with corrective jaw surgery.f your jaws don't meet correctly and your teeth don't seem to fit with your jaws, you may have a bite problem that makes eating difficult.
